Overview

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

 

  • Proven track record in training environment
  • Proficient German language
  • Conversational level in English
  • Graduate in the field of Linguistics or working towards an appropriate linguistic qualification.
  • Experience of working in a multi cultural, commercial business (preferable Contact Centre) environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and often pressured environment
  • Experience of developing and delivering blended development solutions
  • Experience of implementing and managing assessment and/ or development centres
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and (ideally) an interest in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages
  • Team player, internally motivated self starter
  • Highly organised and pay particular attention to detail
  • A successful facilitator with strong coaching skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Ability to establish credibility quickly
  • Proven track record of delivering tangible results
  • Takes personal accountability and drives continuous improvement

ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

 

  • Design, develop and deliver blended training interventions across the Global EMEA Region, by effectively using a variety of traditional and technological methods/media, in line with Business needs
  • Undertake appropriate training and development needs analysis as required
  • Support recruitment activities by running language skill evaluations for both external and internal candidates
  • Assess and provide appropriate feedback on oral and written tests
  • Develop German language development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and in line with the CEFRL (Common European Framework) standard
  • Amend and revise language development programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
  • Produce language training materials for in-house courses, including audio and visual resources;
  • Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
  • Maintain accurate reports of the trainees’ attendance and scores
  • Ensure that language development training requirements are met, as agreed with SLA Coordinator and in line with dynamic day-to-day Business needs.

 

COMMUNICATION

 

  • Maintain stakeholder relationships across the local site and the wider Global EMEA Region
  • Liaise, develop relationships and communicate regularly with TLs, QAs and Recruitment Specialists
  • Record and report on data gathered from trainees/SLA projects and activities.

PLANNING & ORGANISING

  • Ensure that all necessary training equipment and facilities are available when required
  • Ensure that all training documentation is administered effectively
  • Provide regular reports on training activity to the SLA Coordinator
  • Identify and anticipate current and future SLA requirements

 

WORKING TO OBJECTIVES/ RESULTS ORIENTATED

  • Ensure that the Language Development function is adding value to the Region and that objectives are aligned to Business requirements
